Top 5 Theories After The Eagles' First Loss, From 94WIP Callers

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- You know 'em, you love 'em, you are probably one of 'em yourself. The overly imaginative callers on SportsRadio 94WIP. Heck, I admit it, I'm one 'em too. We all do it. We can't help it. Emotions are high after the Eagles lose a game, it's only natural to irrationally speak our minds.

After the Eagles five point---excuse me---yard and a half loss at San Francisco on Sunday, it has been overreaction theater on 94WIP. However, this week was worse than expected.

The Eagles fell to 3-1 tying them atop the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys, but you definitely wouldn't be able to tell that from listening to Philadelphia sports fans. All of the sudden Chip Kelly's offense is overrated, Nick Foles stinks a week after he was called "the toughest quarterback in the league", and LeSean McCoy is past his prime.

Without further ado, here are the five best Eagles theories from 94WIP callers this week.

*Everything you read passed this point is based on real-life comments, made by real-life people. Viewer discretion advised.

5. Start Mark Sanchez over Nick Foles

Nick Foles is currently four games into his first full season as a NFL starting quarterback, coming off a season where had threw 27 touchdowns to two interceptions in 13 games, leading the Eagles to a 10-6 record and a home playoff game. Foles came into the game against the 49ers leading the NFL in passing yards and is currently fifth in that category with 1,173 yards passing in four games.

However, Foles has been inaccurate and inconsistent this season. His completion percentage of 57.8% is 29th in the NFL, so actually, this is amazingly the most logical theory on the list.

4. LeSean McCoy is done

Cut him yesterday!

The Eagles have been without their starting right-tackle, center, and Pro Bowl left guard. The Eagles' offensive line went from arguably the top ranked unit in the league to arguably the worst o-line in the league, thanks to a suspension and injuries. It's as simple as that.

Lane Johnson is back this week, plus Jason Kelce and Evan Mathis will be back later in the season. McCoy is 26-years-old. It's been four games. But we've seen enough. Later Shady!

3. The Eagles are really 0-4

Actually, they're 3-1 and 54-inches away from being the only 4-0 team in the NFL. But hey, it doesn't matter if you win the game, you have to blow teams out. This is Philadelphia, we don't accept three-point wins, Chip. 10-point wins or it doesn't count.

2. Chip Kelly to Michigan?

It's now raining unicorns.

1. Trade LeSean McCoy for Tom Brady

I'm done.
