Theft Of Tip Jar Inside Camden Pizzeria Caught On Tape

CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) -- Police are searching for a suspect who was caught on tape stealing a tip jar inside a pizzeria in South Jersey.

The theft happened at about 11:50 a.m. on May 25th at the Market Street Pizzeria in Camden.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the store just before 11:15 a.m. The suspect ate something and then suspiciously lingered around the store's front counter.

After an employee stepped away, the suspect grabbed a tip jar that was sitting on the counter, placed it in a bag and walked out of the restaurant.

It was not immediately known how much money was in the tip jar.

The suspect is described as an older black male, bald with a grayish goatee. He was wearing a green shirt, shorts and white sneakers.
