The Search For Missing Collingdale Woman Continues, One Year Later
By David Madden
COLLINGDALE, N.J. (CBS) --- This weekend will mark one year since the disappearance of a Collingdale woman. Relatives and friends met with borough police to discuss the course of the ongoing search to find her.
No one has heard from Melissa Ortiz-Rodriguez since she left to see friends in Newark, New Jersey on April 19th. Her estranged husband, Jose, reported her missing four days later.

The couple had a rough relationship, and Colllingdale Police Chief Robert Adams says they've worked on several leads, all of which have gotten them nowhere. But he's kept the family in the loop.
"Their biggest concern is there's little, if any, news media coverage up in the Newark area and Trenton area about the story, because that's where they're all from," he says.
Jose has been less than cooperative with investigators. He has moved to Ocean County with their two daughters and another woman who is the mother of his third child.
Officially, the case is still listed as a missing person. Meanwhile, the family waits and hopes for some answers from somewhere.
