The 'Masters Of All Time' Concert

By RJ McKay

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Janelle McCoy, the executive director of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, described the "Masters of All Time" concert on March 22nd and 23rd at the Perelman Theater.

"We think of that as our master composers, you know, the beloved composers, the canon of symphonic works, so that includes Haydn, for example, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Verdi," McCoy explained.

There's also a guest pianist, Sean Chen.

"He was a prize winner at the Van Cliburn Competition, for example. A very versatile artist, has already, at a young age, had a fantastic performing career," McCoy said.

McCoy added that guest conductor Nir Kabaretti "has worked all over the world. [He was] educated in Vienna. The newly appointed music director of the Southwest Florida Symphony."
