Taney Dragons Transition From Little League Stars To Regular Schoolkids

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Any day now, the Taney Dragons will try to make the transition from the national spotlight to regular schoolkids.
They're going from non-stop attention and adulation as Little League World Series stars, back to doing homework and taking out the trash.
Sports psychologist Joel Fish says it's an opportunity for them to learn new life lessons.
"I think it's challenging for anybody at any age to be at the mountaintop like that, and then all of a sudden so quickly come back to normal life and daily routines. I also think it's particularly challenging for 12-and-13 year-olds because they're trying to figure out their identity."
Fish says there will be a transition and a learning curve back to being a regular kid, but he says adults can help by treating them as they always have.
