SWARTHMORE, Pa. (CBS) - Swarthmore College is celebrating its 150th anniversary this weekend, and as part of their celebration they are hosting special events for their alumni.

The 2,500 plus Swarthmore College alums attending this weekends festivities span more than seven decades.

Edmond Jones, who graduated in 1939, got more than just a degree from Swarthmore:

"I first met my wife on the college campus.  On the steps of the library."

Christopher Gray just graduated a few days ago.

"It's basically like talking to your older brother or older sister," he said. "Everything they've gone through is basically the same, just a different era."

The weekend's activities include a Parade of Classes, a panel that discussed Swarthmore folk music across the decades, as well as an alumni kickball tournament.
