Suspected Car Thief Leads Police On Chase In Olney
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An alleged car thief lead police on a brief chase overnight that injured one woman before coming to a crashing end in the Olney section of Philadelphia.
Police say the received a call for a stolen vehicle shortly before 12:30 a.m. Monday and a chase ensued.
Authorities say the stolen car struck another vehicle at the intersection of 6th and Fisher Streets, and then crashed into several parked cars. The suspect was taken into custody nearby.
The woman in the vehicle that the hit by the suspect suffered minor injuries and was taken to Einstein Medical Center for precautionary evaluation.
