Suspect Arrested For Bank Robbery With Shots Fired In Montgomery County
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Police say they've arrested and charged a man in connection with a bank robbery with shots fired in Plymouth Township.
On June 3rd, a man entered the Bank of America on the 400 block of Plymouth Road and brandished a black semi-automatic pistol while robbing tellers of an undisclosed amount of cash.
As the suspect was leaving the bank, he fired one round from a pistol in the direction of the tellers.
No one was injured.
On Tuesday, June 9th, police arrested Shawn Harris, of the 1000 block of New Hope Street in Norristown, after officials received several tips.
Harris is charged with robbery, aggravated assaults, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure and other related charges.
