2 Men Arrested After Walker Stolen From 10-Year-Old Girl Who Suffers From Cerebral Palsy
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police have arrested two men accused of stealing a walker belonging to a child who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The theft happened last week on Nov. 30 at a home in the unit block of North Rodney Drive in New Castle County, Delaware.
A woman told police that she wheeled her 10-year-old daughter out to the car in their 3-foot tall custom walker and then drove away. The girl reportedly suffers from cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair or a walker.

After realizing she forgot the walker in the front yard, she called her husband only to find out that some stole the walker out of their yard, said police.
Surveillance video from near the scene captured a white Chevrolet 1500 pulling up to the home. Police say the vehicle's passenger is then seen grabbing the walker from the front yard.
Police later located the vehicle in the unit block of Robinson Drive and arrested, 51-year-old Leland Watson and 49-year-old Donald Cale.
Watson was charged with theft, conspiracy and possession of heroin. Cale was charged with theft and conspiracy.
