PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- We already learned last week that George Clooney will be bringing the handsome to the first edition of Late Show with Stephen Colbert, now we know who will be bring the music.
Kendrick Lamar will be Stephen Colbert's first musical guest when the show debuts on September 8th.
Lamar also was the last musical guest for the Colbert Report last year. That was before his sophomore release "To Pimp A Butterfly" and his standout appearances on Dr. Dre's just released "Compton."
We also learned this morning that Jeb Bush will be the first political guest for Colbert.
.@JebBush will be on #LSSC Sept. 8! My first GOP candidate! Luckily I do 200 shows a year, so I think I can fit them all.
