PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- They're raising the steaks at Philadelphia's SugarHouse Casino.
A well-known Chicago steakhouse will open at the end of the year as part of the casino's $164 million expansion project.
The Gibsons Restaurant Group's Hugo's Frog Bar and Chop House will open its first place in Philadelphia at the Delaware Avenue casino.
SugarHouse Casino General Manager Wendy Hamilton says the expansion project is focused on amenities with a goal to make the SugarHouse attractive to a broader segment of Philadelphia.
"And so one of the decisions that was so important to us was who is going to be our high-end restaurant partner. So we chose very carefully we were very lucky to recruit an organization like Gibsons Restaurant Group," said Hamilton.
The 300-seat restaurant will be feature outdoor patio space and views of the river.
Gibsons is the only restaurant group in the country to have its own USDA Prime Angus beef certification.
Hugo's will serve an exclusive Philadelphia dish called the "Philly Cut" a 12-ounce rib eye cap steak topped with smoked provolone cheese sauce, crispy shallots and fried herbs.
