State College Named Top Pennsylvania Town
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (CBS) – It was named one of the best places to retire and now State College, Pennsylvania has another title under its belt.
According to Niche, State College ranked as the best town in Pennsylvania, Furthermore; it was named the 14th best town in the country.
The report says, "It has very high home values, average rent costs, and low unemployment levels."
Niche says it calculated the rankings by taking a, "comprehensive assessment of the overall livability and quality of life of an area at the town level. This grade takes into account key factors of a location, including school ratings, crime rates, housing, employment, community, and things to do, in an attempt to measure the overall quality of an area."
