Starbucks Brings Limited Time 'Frappula' Drink Back For Halloween

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- What's blood red, comes around on Halloween and could be described as "fang-tastic?" No it's not a vampire -- but you're close. It's a vampire-inspired Frappuccino.

Starbucks is getting into the holiday spirit with a few spooky treats available now through October 31.

First up is the "Frappula" which sounds like it could be a perfect adult upgrade for those who enjoy a bowl (or box) of Count Chocula cereal. The drink starts with a layer of mocha sauce and a dollop of whipped cream, then it's layered with chocolate mocha sauce and blended with milk and ice, topping it off with a drizzle of strawberry puree and more whippped cream.

Stores across the US are also serving up "Day of the Dead" shortbread cookies shaped like sugar skulls and vanilla cake pops that resemble mummies.

And customers can listen to Halloween classics like Michael Jackson's Thriller with Starbucks Halloween playlist available on Spotify.
