St. Joe's, Villanova Get Down To Business

BUFFALO, N.Y., (CBS) -- St. Joe's led at halftime, and took Connecticut to overtime, but the Hawks just didn't have the wings to outlast the Huskies. That leaves it up to Villanova to keep Philly in the mix at the NCAA Tournament.

KYW's Ian Bush has the story from the NCAA tournament.

The final score, 89-81, in favor of UConn here at the First Niagara Center. Twenty-five of those points in the losing effort put up by Langston Galloway, leading all scorers. The St. Joe's senior getting a standing "O"sendoff as the northern wing of Hawk Hill chanted "The Hawk Will Never Die."

That puts Connecticut on Villanova's to-do list – if the Wildcats can check off Milwaukee tonight.

But Nova alum Jim says any game in this tourney brings big risk. Villanova hopes to avoid the ranks of the upsets tonight.
