Springing Forward One Hour May Lead To Increased Risk Of Heart Attacks
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Get ready to spring forward one hour this weekend. But with that, comes an increased risk of heart attacks for some people, according to medical experts.
This is especially the case for people with a history of heart disease.
Doctors say to divide the one hour loss over the course of the weekend.
If you normally wake up at 6 a.m. on a weekday, wake up at 5:40 a.m. on Saturday, then 6:20 a.m. on Sunday and 6 a.m. on Monday.
Doctors also recommend eating a decent sized breakfast.
