Social Networks Battle It Out During The Emmy's

Facebook and Twitter will battle it out for social TV supremacy during tonight's Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony.

Twitter will debut a zip-line camera feed, featuring footage from the red carpet and pre-show. The zip-line video footage will be featured on NBC's Twitter account and "Access Hollywood."

 

Meanwhile, Facebook will launch its "Mentions" box on the Emmy's red carpet. Mashable reports the device will allow celebrities to answer questions submitted by Facebook users to the Access Hollywood page.

Philly native Tina Fey, Kerry Washington, Betty White are just some of the celebrities participating.

Mo'ne Davis Takes Over Social Media

Sports Illustrated cover girl and Taney Dragons pitcher Mo'ne Davis has a growing social media following.

Magic Johnson, Michelle Obama and super model Iman have all mentioned her on their social accounts.

Her Twitter account (@Monedavis11) has quickly racked up over 30,000 followers. Over on Instagram she has over 47,000 followers.
