Facebook lets users alter ad profiles
The social network is giving its users the chance to control which ads appear in their newsfeeds.
All ads on the site will now have a preference tool that will explain why you're seeing it, and the option to add or remove it. However, the tool also gives Facebook more information about you, that it can sell to advertisers.
In a blog post, Facebook said the #1 marketing request is that ads are more relevant to users' interests.

Amazon beefs up Prime
Amazon is getting into the music streaming game.
The online retailer has launched "Prime Music", a new service that offers "Prime" customers access to over 1 million songs and hundreds of playlists.
The addition makes Amazon one of the rare companies offering both music downloads and subscriptions.
Prime Music is ad-free and will be available through an update to Kindle Fire HD and HDX devices. It is also available online at primemusic.com, and on the Amazon Music app for iOS and Android.

Guided Search hits the web
Pinterest's Guided Search feature was introduced for mobile devices a few months ago but now
it's coming to the web.
A new search bar will allow users to put in one or more search terms, then suggests related keywords to help narrow down the results.
Pinterest shared a YouTube video on how Guided Search works.
Pinterest added the new search feature to help users better navigate the 30 billion pins on the site.
According to Pinterest's blog post, Guided Search will be available to users in the United States this week and international users will get the new feature at a later point.
