Sixers Try To Beat The Heat Again
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The 76ers will try to make it to straight wins overall, and two straight wins over the Heat, when they welcome Miami to the Center on Friday night.
Philadelphia beat Charlotte on Wednesday night, 95-92, and that win snapped a four-game losing streak and improved their record to 13-25.
Back on October 30th at the Center, the Sixers shocked the world by beating the two-time defending NBA Champs to open their season, 114-110. That game introduced the world to Sixers rookie guard Michael Carter-Williams who had quite the NBA debut, finishing with 22 points, 12 assists, 9 steals and 7 rebounds.
Miami is 27-11 and they enjoy a comfortable 7 1/2 game lead in the Southeast Division. However, they do come to town on a three-game losing streak. Last time out on Wednesday, they lost to Washington.
