The crash happened just before 11:30 P.M. in the southbound lanes near exit 7A in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
Police say the Humvee was the last vehicle in a convoy headed from New York to Fort Dix when a Nissan lost control and stuck it, causing it to overturn.
The driver was ejected from the Humvee and seriously injured. Three other service members inside the Humvee and the driver and passenger inside the Nissan were also injured.
