26th Annual Christmas In July Motorcycle Toy Run To Take Place At Shriners Children's Hospital Sunday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Christmas is still 150 days away, but it will feel like the holiday a little early this weekend at Shriners Children's Hospital in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Centurions Motorcycle Club is gearing up for the 26th annual Christmas in July Motorcycle Toy Run.
It takes place on Sunday at 11 a.m. Members of the motorcycle club will leave Cannstatter's at 9130 Academy Rd. and head to Shriner's Hospital.
"This means so much," Stephanie Byrwa, of Shriners Hospital, said. "It supports us, they've raised over $50,000 already, $650,000 for year to date. It benefits the kid's at Shriners that have different orthopedic conditions, spinal cord injuries, broken bones, everything under the sun, and we're excited."
