Service Resumes After PATCO Train Stuck On Ben Franklin Bridge
By Tim Jimenez
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A PATCO train was stuck on the Benjamin Franklin Bridge for about 40 minutes Tuesday night.
It was close to 7 p.m. when a six-car train heading east stopped near the tunnel on the Camden side of the bridge.
PATCO spokeswoman Fran O'Brien says the train stopped because the air brake in the second car became stuck. Maintenance crews arrived and at 7:37 p.m. the train was moving again.
O'Brien says the passengers transferred to another train at the City Hall station in Camden to continue their trips.
