SEPTA Bus Involved In Crash In Fox Chase; 3 Injured
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Crews responded to the Fox Chase section of the city Monday afternoon after a SEPTA bus was involved in an accident.
Chopper 3 was over the scene of the accident on the 7000 block of Oxford Avenue.
SEPTA says shortly before 12:20 p.m., a route 17 bus was making a right hand turn when it came into contact with a truck, which then ran into a building.
Officials say three people, the driver and two passengers, were taken to Aria-Torresdale with non-life threatening injuries.
No one was injured in the other vehicle.
SEPTA says the route 24 bus is currently on detour because of the crash.
Police remain on the scene investigating.
