Rudy Giuliani: DNC Is Anti-Cop
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Former New York Mayor, Rudy Giuliani criticized Democrats and Hillary Clinton for not allowing police officers on the convention floor and called the entire week of festivities in Philadelphia 'anti-cop.'
Giuliani, during an interview with Dom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, said the Democrats have gone out of their way to disrespect law enforcement.
"The Philadelphia Police Department was not allowed to come on to the floor of the convention. Hillary Clinton didn't want uniforms shown at the convention, possibly because it might offend certain people because this is an anti-cop convention. We know it's an anti-cop convention. I have been told that by at least a dozen Philadelphia police officers. Not only that, the last two nights, myself and my security detail and some of my friends searched all around the convention floor and we couldn't find a single Philadelphia police officer uniform and this morning, as I walked into FOX, I asked a police officer, how did it feel to be excluded from the convention floor? He said it felt pretty lousy and we're pretty angry at the Commissioner."
He also responded to backlash he received for saying Muslims on the terrorist watch list to be monitored through electronic tagging.
"If you are a criminal, of course you should be tagged. If you are on the terrorist watch list, you should be tagged. Unless all Muslims are terrorists, then they shouldn't be tagged."
