One Injured In Crash Along Roosevelt Boulevard In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One person was injured in an accident early Saturday along Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of the Boulevard and Cottman Avenue.

Officials say two vehicles were involved in the crash. The impact caused an SUV to flip onto its roof.

The driver of the SUV was rushed to Aria-Torresdale Hospital in unknown condition. There was no initial word on any other injuries.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the accident.

The intersection was closed to traffic on the southbound side of the Boulevard while authorities investigated the crash.
