'Riverdale's' Vanessa Morgan Discusses Her Coachella Style
Philadelphia (CW Philly) — Filming for Season 2 of Riverdale is a wrap! To celebrate, the cast hit the dessert for Coachella.
Vanessa Morgan, who plays Toni Topaz in the show, talked with Teen Vogue about her first time going to Coachella, and of course fashion was the main topic of conversation.
"Before I packed, they told me it's going to be super hot in the day and then it gets cold at night. I should have taken that advice and worn a jacket last night, but I didn't," Morgan admitted while reflecting on night 1 of the festival.
Morgan also learned early on that she should ditch heels for the rest of the festival.
"Comfortable shoes are definitely key because I think I might have some blisters on my feet after yesterday," she said.
Morgan did pack boots, though. Get this- they are actually Toni Topaz's shoes!
"I literally put her [Toni Topaz] Doc Martens in my wardrobe. She's definitely influencing my style," Morgan said.
Hart Denton [Chic Cooper], Charles Melton [Reggie Mantle], and Camila Mendes [Veronica Lodge], joined Morgan at the festival, and she's pretty content with her Coachella crew.
"We feel like a family, so being able to have my first Coachella experience with them is great. Having them here is what's making the experience so fun, and we're finally able to let loose after working so hard wrapping up the end of the season," Morgan said.

Morgan didn't stop at Coachella fashion, she even dropped a few hints about the future of Riverdale.
"Obviously there's going to be some serious drama happening, especially in the season finale, and especially in the musical episode," Morgan said.
She even teased about the future of her and Cheryl Blossom's relationship.
"There's going to be more of Cheryl and Toni, and I think that's what the fans really want," Morgan said.
