Rider University Student Killed In Crash On Campus
LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (CBS) – A student is dead following an early morning crash between a car and a school bus on the Rider University campus in Lawrence Township, Mercer County.
This happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday along Route 206 near the South entrance of campus.
The student, identified by police as 22-year-old Eliseo Diaz, was reportedly driving the car and struck the bus, which was exiting the parking lot at the time.
Nobody was on the bus at the time of the accident, and the bus driver not injured.
Toxicology reports will determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor. The accident remains under investigation.
