Report Ranks Philly Hospitals Among The Best

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia hospitals are among the best in a new ranking from U.S. News and World Report.

Wills Eye Hospital placed number two nationwide in Opthalmology for the fourth year, and Dr. Julia Haller, Ophthalmologist in Chief, says this proves hard work by good employees pays off and the ranking does matter.

"It's kind of become a good housekeeping seal of approval, if you will. It's become a ranking insurers look to, patients look to even people who are looking for places to train academically."

The best hospital rankings also named Hospitals of the University of Pennsylvania-Penn Presbyterian number one in the Commonwealth.

Jefferson Health Hospitals came in at number three.
