1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Reading, DA says
READING, Pa. (CBS) -- A suspect is in custody after a shooting that killed one person and injured another Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened around 5:50 a.m. in an apartment on the 400 block of Windsor Street, Reading police said.
A 23-year-old man was killed and a 32-year-old woman was injured. The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police described the shooting as a domestic incident. They believe the suspsected shooter broke into the apartment and shot both victims.
The suspect later turned themselves in.
