Radnor Township School District Retiring Raider Nickname, Native American Imagery

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- The Radnor Township School District is retiring the Raider nickname, mascot and associated Native American imagery. On Wednesday night, the school board voted 8-1.
Some have called the nickname and imagery offensive.
The district will now work to select a new nickname.
