President Obama Named Most Admired Man; Trump, Pope Francis Tie For 2nd

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – President Obama is getting ready to enter his final year in office, and he just earned an honor that he's received every year since he's been in the White House.

The president was named the most admired man, according to a new Gallup poll.

It's his eighth consecutive year on top of the list.

After the president, Pope Francis and Donald Trump are tied for second.

Another presidential hopeful, Bernie Sanders, finished in third place.

On the women's side, Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton finished on top for the 14th straight year and 20th time overall.

Human rights activist Malala Yousafzai came in a distant second.

First lady Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey tied for third.
