PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Eduard Prades of Spain and Megan Gaurnier of the United States were the men's and women's winners of the 2016 Philadelphia International Cycling Classic.

Twenty-eight-year-old Prades finished the 110.7-mile men's event Sunday with an unofficial time of three hours, 57 minutes, 37 seconds. He's the second straight winner of the event from the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA team. Carlos Barbero was last year's winner.

Prades said through an interpreter that winning the race was "an amazing feeling." Travis McCabe of the Holowesko-Citadel team finished second.

Megan Gaurnier of the Boels-Dolmans team won the women's 73.8-mile race.

The 12.3-mile route ran from the city through Manayunk, Roxborough, East Falls, Fairmount Park and Lemon Hill, beginning and ending near the top of the infamous steep "Manayunk Wall."
