Positively Philadelphia: T-Shirts With An Attytood

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Okay, so you want a Philadelphia-related t-shirt, but you want something other than the usual?
Enter Philly Phaithful!
"The Philadelphia Experience celebrates the city of Philadelphia in three ways," says Dan Hershberg, president of the Philadelphia Experience, "through originally designed apparel, partnerships with local businesses offering unique experiences to customers, and supporting local charities."
Hershberg (below) says his t-shirts are inspired by Philadelphia icons.
"We have the soft pretzel-mustard shirt that says 'Best Friends Forever,' a shirt that has an onion that says 'Wit or Witout You.' My favorite shirt is one that I happen to be wearing today. It says, 'Yo -- it's how we say hello.' Also (we have) The United States of Philadelphia shirt, an American flag with Liberty Bells in place of the stars."

It started with just Philly sports.
"Our most popular sporting t-shirt has an image of vintage aviator glasses and a mustache and it says, 'Schmidt happens.' We also have a very popular shirt that says, 'We're from Philadelphia and we fight.' It's got a picture of Billy Penn atop City Hall, with boxing gloves."
Most of the t-shirts cost around 25 dollars.
"We like to celebrate all of the things that we enjoy doing in Philadelphia, so we wanted to celebrate the city with original shirts you're not going to find when you walk into a big box store," Hershberg says.
