By Mike DeNardo

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The 32nd U.S. store for Japanese clothing retailer UNIQLO opens in Center City Philadelphia Friday morning.

"From Tokyo To Philadelphia" is painted on the window at the new store on the 1600 block of Chestnut Street where Filene's Basement used to be located.

City officials were on hand for the grand opening at 10 a.m. of the store that sells casual clothing.

The Center City location is part of an expanding footprint in the Philadelphia area. It joins stores in King of Prussia and Cherry Hill.

A Willow Grove UNIQLO is set to open next week.
