Poll: 20% Would Choose Their Phone Over Fido
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Animal lovers will be appalled.
One in five people would rather be parted from their pet for a month than give up their smartphone for the same amount of time.
Yes, HuffPost/YouGov says their poll of 1,000 adults reveals that 20% of pet owners would pass on cuddle time with their pet rather than be banned from their smartphone for 30 days. Thirteen-percent wavered, claiming they were unsure what they'd choose.
Of course, we already know that most women would prefer their smartphone over sex, but giving up quality time with your favorite animal? Now that's truly shocking.
