Police: Woman Stabbed To Death In West Kensington
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman in the West Kensington section of the city.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. along North 5th Street.
Police say officers responded to a call for a person with a weapon. When they arrived, they found a 47-year-old woman inside the living room suffering from stab wounds to her head and neck.
The woman was transported to Temple Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The victim's identity was being withheld, pending notification of family.
Police are still looking for a suspect, although neighbors say they believe the shooter is a man the woman was living with.
