The 22-year-old woman reported to police the suspect drove up in an early 1990s Dodge or Crysler minivan and abducted her at gunpoint.

Authorities say the female reported after the assault she was released in the area of Almond and York Streets.

Police tell CBS 3 Eyewitness News the woman was held captive for over an hour.

Police say the alleged victim described the suspect as a Latino male, 21-25-years-old, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans.  Police say the van is blue or gray.

"She got a really good look at him," Chief Inspector Scott Small with Philadelphia Police told Eyewitness News.

"No matter how slight the information is, we still want you to call. You're not bothering us. It's not a burden. We want the information," Small said.

Police ask anyone with information to call 911.
