Police cancel free steering wheel lock giveaway for Kia, Hyundai cars
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A free steering wheel lock giveaway has been canceled. The Philadelphia Police Department planned on giving out locks on Tuesday in an attempt to stop a growing trend in car thefts.

Officers in the 35th District were going to hand out free steering wheel locks to Kia and Hyundai owners.
Thieves have targeted those cars recently after social media videos showed an easy way to steal the cars.
