Police Take Man With Semi-Automatic Rifle In North Philly Into Custody

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man with a semi-automatic rifle is in police custody after shots were fired Wednesday afternoon.

Chopper 3 was over the scene of the 2800 block of North 20th Street where the rifle could be seen in the street.

Police pursued the suspect for a short time and were able to take him into custody.

There were no reported injuries.

No word on the man's identity.
