Police: Missing 9-Year-Old Girl Found Safe In West Philadelphia

UPDATE:

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a young girl who disappeared from her home in West Philadelphia has been located safe and unharmed.

Police say 9-year-old Shabreah McClean was found Saturday morning, a day after she was reported missing from her home in the 5600 block of Catharine Street.

There was no immediate word from authorities about where the girl was found or whom she was with.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a young girl who disappeared from her home in West Philadelphia.

Police say 9-year-old Shabreah McClean was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday at her home in the 5600 block of Catharine Street.

Authorities say she was wearing a purple coat, a white three button shirt, blue uniform pants, and gray boots with pink and gray laces.

McClean is four feet tall and weighs 75 pounds.
