PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police have released a sketch of the suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that injured a 75-year-old woman in December.

Authorities say the victim reported that a Hispanic male approached her and tried to grab her purse while she was walking in the alleyway on Montague Street in Northeast Philadelphia.

When she resisted, police say the male shot her in the face with a silver handgun.

The vehicle was last seen on video surveillance cameras heading northbound on Torresdale Avenue towards Linden Avenue and possibly getting onto northbound I-95 at Linden Avenue.

Authorities describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s, 5'10" tall, around 220-240 pounds with a large build,
bearded with curly sideburns and black hair.

The FOP is offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest of the suspect and the Citizens Crime Commission is also offering $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
