Police Open Fire On Armed Man In Point Breeze
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say officers fired their weapons at a man who pulled a gun on them during a chase Saturday night in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.
This began just before 7:30 p.m. on Manson Street.
Police say the man fled the scene following a car stop and a foot chase ensued. Police then opened fire on the man after he took out a gun and pointed it at the officers several blocks away on the 1400 block of Federal Street.
Police then arrested the man before he could return fire.
No injuries to officers or anybody else were reported.
