Police: Suspect In Custody After 51-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police have a suspect in custody after a fatal shooting in Philadelphia's Fern Rock neighborhood on Tuesday morning. Officers responded to a shooting on the 1300 block of Chew Avenue, just after 8:45 a.m.

Police say 51-year-old David Cobb was shot once in the head and pronounced dead on the scene.

Officers arrested 31-year-old Phillip Turner on the 5700 block of Broad Street following the shooting. He is charged with murder, robbery and other related offenses.
