Police: Man, 2 Teens Shot During Violent Night In Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — A man and two teenage boys were shot and wounded during a violent night in Camden.

But it's not clear if the shootings in the city's Fairview section are connected.

The first shooting apparently occurred around 12:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Yorkship Road, where officers found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the groin.

A short time later, they found a wounded 17-year-old boy on a nearby street.

Both teens were hospitalized in serious condition, but further details on their injuries were not disclosed.

Around the same time the two teens were found, authorities found a 22-year-old man who had been shot in the hand. He was taken to a hospital and was listed in stable condition.

Motives for all three shootings remain under investigation.
