Police: Man Stabbed, Robbed Inside Fast Food Joint In Downtown Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A transgender female was one of two suspects who stabbed and robbed a male inside a fast food joint in Philadelphia Wednesday evening, police said.

The incident happened at about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday at the Wendy's restaurant in the 1100 block of Walnut Street.

According to investigators, a 21-year-old male was stabbed in the abdomen and in the back of the leg. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in stable condition.

Police say a cell phone was taken.

Police say the first suspect is described as a black male, 5'7" who was wearing a black shirt with tan and brown pants.

Police described the second suspect as a transgender female who was wearing a brown jacket with light-colored jeans and black boots.

Anyone with information on the suspects is urged to call 911.
