Man Dead, Teen Girl Wounded In Hunting Park Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for clues after a shooting left one man dead and a teenage girl critically injured in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 11 p.m. Saturday at West Pike Street and North Park Avenue in Hunting Park where police say officers found a 20-year-man and a 17-year-old girl inside a bullet-riddled vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The man had been shot several times in his chest, arm, and hip. The girl suffered gunshot wounds to her legs and back.

Both victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital where the man was pronounced dead. The girl was listed in critical condition.

The victims' identities have not yet been released.

There was no initial word on a motive or suspects.
