Police Investigate ATM Explosion In Strawberry Mansion

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating after an explosion occurred inside of an ATM machine in Strawberry Mansion.

Authorities responded to the 2500 block of Lehigh Avenue around 4:30 Monday morning.

Police say the explosion happened in front of a barbershop.

There are no reports of injuries.

ATF officials say no money was taken, and their investigation revealed the damage was caused by a suspected explosive device.
