Police Investigate After Woman Leaps From Moving Vehicle On I-76
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- According to authorities, a 28-year-old woman jumped from the passenger side a moving car on the I-76 on Monday afternoon shortly after 5 p.m. Authorities say the car was moving at highway speeds.
Police say the woman was transported to Presbyterian Hospital and her injuries are currently being evaluated.
Authorities say the woman was not struck by any other cars after she jumped from her vehicle. The incident is still under investigation, but there doesn't appear to be any foul play involved at this time, police say.
All lanes were shut down on the Schuylkill Expressway and have since been reopened.
