Police Prepare For Eagles Victory At Frankford And Cottman

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Frankford and Cottman in Northeast Philadelphia. It's one of the craziest spots to be whenever there is a big Philly sports victory.

With the Eagles set to host the Vikings in the NFC Championship on Sunday (6:40 p.m.) at the Linc, Captain Anthony Luca of the 15th District is taking precautionary measures for a potential Birds Super Bowl LII berth at the famous celebratory spot.

Luca wrote a letter to business in the area, saying if you are planning to be closed, to lock your grates. He also request bar owners use plastic cups, enforce that open container law, and make sure all security cameras are on.

"We hope that with your cooperation, this will be a safe and damage free celebration," Luca writes.
