Police: Del. Woman Ran Over Man -- With Toddler In The Car -- After Argument
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police have charged a woman with running over a man with her car during a domestic dispute in Newark, Delaware.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ashley Addison is facing charges of assault in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child after the bizarre incident, which happened on Tuesday morning in the unit block of Dale court.
Addison reportedly struck the male, 25, with her car after an argument while their two-year-old child sat in the backseat of the vehicle.
The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital with cuts and bruises. He is in stable condition.
Addison was arrested and committed to Baylor's Women's Correctional Institution in lieu of $12,000 cash bail. She was also issued a no contact order with the victim.
