Police Continue To Search For Suspects After 80-Year-Old Man Robbed And Assaulted In Logan
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police say an elderly man was thrown to the ground and robbed by two suspects in the city's Logan section last month.
The robbery happened on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 around 12:55 p.m. on the 2100 block of Windrim Avenue.
Two suspects were reportedly captured on surveillance video following the 80-year-old victim. When the elderly man started running for the route 75 SEPTA bus, one of the suspects tackled him and stole his wallet, which contained $200-300 and personal identification.
A bystander reportedly stopped and offered the victim help and the suspects fled on foot. They were last seen heading toward Dennie Street.
The first suspect is described as a black male between 17 and 19-years-old with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the upper left front and dark colored jeans.
The second suspect is also a black male between 17 and 19 with a thin build. He was wearing a burgundy hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans.
